shameless: like velvet

my goodness, am i getting lots accomplished today! i can cross the third deed of the 30 days shamelessness challenge off the list:
3. eat. Whatever you feel like eating.
today my friend and i were supposed to enjoy ourselves in the bleachers at yankee stadium, watching our boys kick some tampa bay ass. but alas, mother nature had other plans for us and decided to be a moody bitch and rain on our parade. with the game postponed (and neither of us too jazzed on spending the afternoon at home), we ventured to one of our favorite meet-up spots, crumbs bake shop. this place... i mean... i just... it's great. (hello, serious under-selling.) the cupcakes are fresh daily, in unique and delicious flavors, and the one we like to go to is fit perfectly into a cute little town with lots to do and see... you know, when it isn't raining like crazy. today was very much a comfort-food day, so i went ahead with a hot hazelnut coffee and a red velvet cupcake.

yum. i don't even want to talk about how many calories are in this guy (or how often i go to crumbs to get one). but i think i successfully accomplished shameless deed numero tres.

The problem is I live by this rule far too much.

I want cupcakes. Where is this place? There is one actually close to me, I had it once it was delicious, they had a pink lemonade cupcake: I should go there more often.

i just saw this, and am really missing our spontaneous cupcaking. i've also really been wanting to bake, because OBVIOUSLY i love baked things. But someone I live with wont eat it, so I'd be the only fatass eating my delicious baked goods - and that is just wrong. <3
